It began as a fun thing and keeps being a fun thing. Beat Decree is a small group of music producers who each take a turn making up arbitrary guidelines to apply to songwriting. Each round gets released as an album. This release is unique in that Beat Decree's guideline was to remake, remix, or re-envision The Late Circuit's "The Lost City" album. He wrote these songs a couple of decades ago and they are being brought to life again. As a listener, you'll hear a blend of retro and modern electronic music sounds, all orbiting the ideals of light hearted collaboration between a handful of musicians writing novel pieces in the spirit of sharing and exchanging creative ideas.
